The 2014 Science Curriculum requires that children are involved more in designing, planning and carrying out their own investigations. Engineering challenges provide the ideal opportunity for children to develop these skills and to collaborate together on solving a problem.

- A full day STEM investigation designed by Inspiring Science in collaboration with your school.
- Inspiring Science will bring a range of exciting equipment appropriate for your chosen topic.
- The children will be supported (where appropriate) to come up with a question they would like to investigate.
- We will lead the children through the planning process.
- The emphasis will be on the children making their own decisions about equipment and experimental methods.
- The pupils will evaluate their results and then refine and repeat their experiments.
- We will provide the class teacher with a ‘working scientifically’ skills assessment grid.
